The 2020 Jeep Gladiator makes its Debut at the 2018 LA Auto Show!

This year’s Los Angeles International Auto show did not disappoint when it came to the amount of new vehicle introductions and the debuts of new vehicles. One of the most anticipated debuts was undoubtedly the new mid-size pickup truck from Jeep, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. For anyone who has longed for the reveal of this vehicle, like we have, here are a few good to know facts about the game-changing Jeep Gladiator. 

Jeep enthusiasts across the United States have long-awaited the pickup version of the Jeep Wrangler and the 2018 LA Auto show put an end to the wait. Some of the impressive features of this vehicle are:
  • The Gladiator features class-leading towing capacity. When properly equipped, the midsize pickup can tow up to 7,650 pounds.
  • The Gladiator comes standard with four-wheel drive.
  • With its multiple removable roof and door options, the Gladiator will be the only convertible pickup on the market.
  • The Gladiator will be offered with a 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine rated at 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.
  • There is plenty of off-roading capability.
  • An infotainment system comprised of: the fourth-generation Uconnect system with either a 5-, 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen depending on trim level.
  • AppleCarPlay and Android Auto comes standard along with Navigation on the 8.4inch touchscreens. 
Safety was also not spared when it came to the design of this vehicle. Some of the increased safety features that customers can look forward to are: blind-spot monitoring, a back-up camera with dynamic grid lines, adaptive cruise control and rear cross traffic alerts.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is slated to arrive at dealerships during the second quarter of 2019. Customers can look forward to the Gladiator being available in four trim levels, the Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon.
